Nylunda Gård – near the southern shores of Gotland

Welcome to Gotland! Nylunda farm is located in the south-eastern part of the island, near the town of Ljugarn. Enjoy the special features of Gotland’s nature which is very different from the Swedish mainland. In the peaceful and quiet surroundings of Nylunda farm you can stroll along sandy beaches, watch birds in protected areas and discover the charme of rural life.

As our guest you’ll live on our premisses, toghether with 10 sheep, 7 alpackas, a horse, 5 cats and the farm-owner: Birgitta.

Enjoy your stay near nature and farm-animals. Your accommodation is a guest-appartment in one of the farm-buildings, separate from the owners house and with its own entrance. You have access to the yard, the lush lawn in the garden and an own patio. Here you can try the Swedish game “kubb”, play soccer or just say hello to chickens and rabbits that are out and about.

The appartment has one spacious room with double-bed and sofa-bed and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is freshly renovated with WC/shower, washing machine, drying rack etc. With self-catering you’ll be independant and ready for exciting trips into the surroundings or to the major sights of Gotland.

We have a farm-shop where we sell leather and wool from sheep and alpacka. During the summer we also sell Lamb products.

3 km – Gangvide Farm has hire-service for canoes and bikes, pony-riding and camping.

5,5 km – Lausviken Beach

8 km – När Harbour with restaurant and fish-store

15 km – town of Ljugarn with beach, beach-café and restaurant.
